NOTE: This count may be a bit iffy. It was difficult keeping track of who killed who and how many. In these ensemble casts the faces tend to run together (this was especially a problem with the three sequels). I am, however, confident about the most conservative estimate of how many Germans were in the bunker when it exploded, by counting the number of people running past in the main hall.
