I hate to do this to you, but I think you under counted by 1: he shoots 4 guys through the head with one bullet, but your tally only counts 3 :?

Thanks Kain for uploading one of my "birthday presents" to Chow :D

Anyway; I promised a Replacement Killers killcount earlier, but... well, I already ripped the DVD into my laptop, but yesterday I spent the night not at home, but in my apartment instead, and did not bring my laptop along... :? (wouldn't help either, my apartment offers no internet facilities, cannot work) but nevermind, going back home tonight, then I'll do the count 8-)

Looked like 3 guys to me.

Yeah, vimeo did that to me too when I tried to upload my cut of Missing In Action.

You've done MIA too?

No, though I could easily do it, I suppose. I meant I recut the whole film and have my own version.

Yeah that's what I meant. What did you do, add in some of the stuff from part 2 (which is actually part 1)?

I know I ask every time I get wind of one of your homebrew edits, but I actually have a passing interest in film editing. I've got a mate who's getting into it as a career too.

After watching it again, there seems to be a weird continuity error, he does appear to shoot 3 guys, but for some strange reason, there's a shot just before he fires where 4 guys can be seen, but I will concede the killcount is fine.

Not working for me either. Not sure what that's about. Just says it's unable to play the episode. I'll check it again tomorrow.

There are some flashbacks to part 2, and also the opening to part 3. All in all, it's a darker piece with a more synthesized music score and all the violence. I felt that each of the films had things I liked about them, but as a whole I didn't like and so I edited Missing In Action and Missing In Action III into one movie about a guy who uses the excuse of going back to Vietnam to get revenge for his imprisonment and ultimately to retrieve his family.

I cut out a lot of the dialog and other bits, making it something it more surprising when he actually finds his wife and kid. He also seems to be relentlessly tearing up the countryside as a one-man army. As much as I like the actor, M. Emmett Walsh has been omitted from my cut, making Chuck Norris on his own the whole way through. I'll try and upload it again sometime.
