As much as I like the second film, I always thought it was bogus how they wrote off Elisabeth Shue’s character by having her dump Larusso (off screen, no less) for a football player. Think how much ballsier it would have been had they still been a couple in love going into the sequel, only to have Daniel-san pimp Kumiko all the same. Oh, and that’s the second time I’ve received a “special thanks”. The first one was from the President...

...of Iceland.

Any excuse for a picture of Elisabeth Shue

Great stuff Kain and looking forward to your Karate Kid clones/rip-offs reviews. I always have a special affinity with the original series though.I'm even named after Daniel Larusso.

Young Hearts by Commuters! Hells YEAH! Easily my favourite part of the soundtrack as well.

Not the funniest, but possibly the best episode as of yet.

Very good episode, even though I have to adress the lack of titties! :D

Also this one was made all the more awesome by making use of one of the greatest songs ever made: Sweep the Leg. I'm really looking forward to all the more or less crappy rip-offs you'll dig out.

Cool. The next one is more or less written (ad-lib a lot of shit... perhaps I am a bad writer), but I'm working quite a bit this week so it may be a few days before I can get much of it done.

Also... your avatar is... cute.

We won’t see shit, but we’ll get the impression of the fight scene and everyone’s happy. Well, I don’t think so. I’m not a big fan of the way they film action in the Bourne films, or The Dark Knight for that matter."

Okay, that sounds good!

Haha thanks :D Yeah I though the Streets of Fire-avatar was cool, but I like myself some change-ups every now and then.
Also: Nothing says "Hey guys I'm a member of an action film forum and I like watching Steven Seagal kicking the shit out of Rastafaris!" like a snow leopard with its tail in its mouth, right? :D

Finished the next KQ. Damn thing is twice as long as I wanted it to be, but there was so much I wanted to show and talk about. Will be up in a while.

So this is hands down my new favourite episode, the naughty spots and Sean Connery bits had me in stitches, and Young Hearts is always welcome. Will the sequels be covered or just KK rip-offs?

I'm thinking I might just do a whole episode on sequels, comparing them all and whatnot. There are so many to cover, though. Not sure how I'll go about it just yet.
