I was playing Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, but I've gotten side-tracked. I'll get back to it eventually.

We won’t see shit, but we’ll get the impression of the fight scene and everyone’s happy. Well, I don’t think so. I’m not a big fan of the way they film action in the Bourne films, or The Dark Knight for that matter."

Rantbo's a big fan of that one. I couldn't get too into it. It was too easy, too short, and too repetitive. Plus, the endings sucked. But now that they've moved up the level cap and extended the game (where does it end now?), I think I might start over.

Fallout 3 is pretty much all I play ATM. I purchased Broken Steele as well, but I haven't played the new missions yet. I'm almost at lv.30, but I still have a bunch more places to explore before moving on to the new stuff. The new villains are pains in the ass. Like that new Feral Goul, those fuckers are HARD. I still have yet to pick up the other downloads, but I also heard that there is supposed to be another 3 downloads for part 3 BEFORE New Vegas comes out. Much more carnage to look forward to. 8-)

If you're looking for nothing but shoot em ups/action in first and third person views, I compiled a few by platform that you may want to rent. I only own a PC, PSP, and PlayStation 3 by the way.

Multiplatform(PC, PS3, 360): Stranglehold, F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin, Wanted Weapons of Fate, Kane and Lynch Dead Men, Grand Theft Auto IV (not just shooting, but driving), Wheelman, Chronicles of Riddick Dark Athena, Red Faction Guerrilla, Saints Row 2, Resident Evil 5, Metal Gear Solid 4

PC: Crysis Warhead (better than Crysis), Max Payne 1-2,

PlayStation 3: Resistance 1-2, Killzone 2,

PSP: Syphon Filter Dark Mirror, Killzone Liberation

I'm somewhere in the middle of Max Payne 2 right now. Chronicles of Riddick was awesome, as well as Stranglehold. I wish they'd make some more of those.

Haven't played the F.E.A.R. games. Are they really good?

The F.E.A.R. games (1 and 2: Project Origin) are solid supernatural shooters with the look of Rainbow Six. You mainly fight cloned soldiers wearing gas masks, tactical armor, and fight off power armor. The first game is more suspenseful and has a good balance of horror and action.

The second game, F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin has a lot of action. Redesigned weapons, wider variety of enemies (clones, abominations, mercenaries, etc), and you get to pilot an elite power armor (basically a mech).

I'd rent them first. I have both of them on PC.
