If there is the slightest chance those Blu-rays are cut in the UK (I'm english BTW) then there is no way hell i'm buying them.

I'm holding off on this too, for now, until I know where I find myself come Autumn, both geographically and more important economically.

Same, be nice to wait for some pre-release reviews as well.

I wonder if the films will be getting any new special features with this release, as it's a 50th anniversary set?

Another great question; similar franchises have continued ripping off their fanbase by including the same exact features from a previous release and only one new addition. This better not only include featurettes/promos for the upcoming flick as it's only add-on.

Yes. There is going to be over 130 hours of features and a brand new disc full of stuff.

Why would you care anyways, you hate Blu-Ray and already claimed that you are not interested in this set because you're boycotting MGM... Either way, you're pissing me off with your nonsense and bullshit--I give you this opportunity now to stop posting in my threads like I've talked to you about (several times), before this gets nasty again.

Yeah... Still, as this is such a big anniversary I guess there's a fairly good chance. Some new features would certainly be nice. I'm not sure about the Ultimate Editions (I only bought the two or three that were uncut over my original DVDs) but the ancient set I had (I think it was the very first complete DVD set released...) had fairly good documentaries for most of the films, but one or two were missing any such making-ofs. Be good to see those with nice new featurettes.

Maybe some new interviews with each of the Bond actors as well. Is it just me, or do Bond actors disappear after their stint as 007? Roger Moore kind of faded away, I never really heard anything more from Pierce Brosnan, George Lazenby just vanished off the face of the earth, and the only other film I can name Timothy Dalton in is Flash Gordon. Only Sean Connery managed to keep a career going. What's up with that?

Flash Gordon was with pre-Bond Dalton, but he did do Hot Fuzz recently. Brosnan is still around, but he only does lame shit like Mama Mia and the 9/11 movie with Robert Pattinson. I've always felt Roger Moore was around despite having only seen him in one film post-Bond. Lazenby was just dumb as fuck by turning down future Bond films so his disaster of a career isn't really surprising. Even Connery struggled for the longest time after he quit as Bond, early 80s he started selling out with Never Say Never Again, Highlander, clearly done just for the money. He was even considered "box office poison" until he re-invented himself with In The Name of the Rose. So go bald, grow a beard, have career.

You see what I mean though? Other than Connery you can only really name one or two films for each actor. Strange. Pretty sound employment advice to end your summary though.

I can actually think of half a dozen Brosnan films that he made post-Bond, although only two good, and zero noteworthy, so I see your point.

And you're all forgetting about Dalton in The Rocketeer. Of which, he was the best part.
