It does not, as it's not an MGM title. But, good god, man--why would you want it!?

I actually quite like it. Above all else, it's fun to see someone else having a go at making a Bond film. True it's got quite a lot of faults with it, but to be honest I'd still rate it above some of the worst Eon productions, like Die Another Day.

but seriously you have no idea how big my DVD/Blu-ray collection is. I've got to draw the line somewhere.

Still fighting myself over this one.

I’m not a big fan of the way they film action in the Bourne films, or The Dark Knight for that matter."

Just heard a horrible rumour (via a by no means reliable source on Amazon) that these may be the censored versions once again, which SUCKS, especially as the last DVD sets were all uncut. I'm not sure if any of these films were ever cut in the US, but some of the more recent ones (and Licence To Kill in particular) have been cut to varying degrees in the UK in the past.

It'll be really fucking annoying if James Bond will return in The Versions You Don't Want To See.

If it's not broken, don't fix it. ;)

As for the censoring issue, License to Kill's final scene is only missing a few seconds of the main villain's death so in retrospect it's truly not that big a deal.

Some of the films are quite heavily cut over here in the UK. Licence To Kill is the worst, with almost all the violent scenes trimmed, including Leiter's severed leg when he's mauled by the shark, Krest exploding, Dario getting minced and Sanchez going up in flames. GoldenEye's missing a lot of headbutts in the fight scenes, which makes them pretty hard to follow. Tomorrow Never Dies is the worst - while it only has a few moments cut out, it's HORRIBLY obvious that something's been done. Even On Her Majesty's Secret Service has had some stuff taken out of it in the past, like the guy getting chewed up by the snow-eater and the use of a flamethrower during the storming of Piz Gloria.

Funny, this was one of the easiest decisions I've made. #1. It's the entire James Bond Collection. #2. Few films have ever looked this good on Blu-Ray. and #3. They are less than 10 bucks a piece. My favorite franchise collected together, in better condition than they were ever available--including (in most cases) their theatrical runs. It's a no brainier.

Jesus... that almost makes me weep. Finger's crossed you guys get the uncut versions. As it stands in the states, the only one that we've been given in a cut form in Casino Royale. Every other one has been featured in it's true form. Even LTK is the Uncut version on the Blu-Ray and Ultimate Ed. DVDS.

Well the last batch of DVDs, the Ultimate Editions, were all uncut here. Except Casino Royale, which, now that you mention it, was also censored here, but strangely in different places to the States - we had cuts made to the torture scene, whereas you guys had stuff taken out of the fights sequences, I believe.

Anyway, I'll be pissed if the Blu-rays have reverted back to the censored versions, especially as the last releases were complete. I'm hoping this guy on Amazon is talking out of his ass, but it seems like a strange thing for him to just make up if it isn't true.

Well, since the Blu-Rays are (or at least, have been so far) just HD transfers of the Ultimate Editions, it would seem really silly for them to go back and re-edit them down for seemingly no purpose. I mean, what self respecting Bond fan would spend that much money for a neutered set? They'd be crazy to do that. Q. Were the 11 films that are already on Blu edited down? If not, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Exactly. I won't buy it if they're censored. I've messaged the guy on Amazon asking where he got his info from, if I get any response I'll stick the details up on here.

I haven't seen any of the Blu-rays, in fact I'm not even sure which films have been released so far, but I know the early Bond films weren't cut on any DVD (well, except footage that was taken out when they were initially made, which I'm pretty sure has been lost for some time). It seems to be Licence To Kill onwards where the problem lies. A View To A Kill also had some stuff trimmed, but as that wasn't put back in for the Ultimate Edition that might have been lost too.
