Arnold has said before that he wanted to take roles that take advantage of his age instead of ignoring it, so maybe we will see some of that in Last Stand. I love Eastwood-style "aging badass" movies, so I would love to see this type of movie from Arnold.

I doubt he's going to go on a killing spree in this flick, Sean.

Same here but like Eastwood, he should still have some of his persona that fans expect from him while showing a new side of himself at the same time.

I don't expect a massacre but there should be some sort of action although it would be cool to see him display a dramatic side (which shouldn't be too hard seeming how good he is at comedy).

Doesn't really sound like the epic action-movie I hoped for from Arnie, and it certainly doesn't sound like an action movie to me - I mean one sheriff attempting to stop ONE prisoner sounds Meh to me.
And with it being Arnie's first action-movie in years, I think the director would want to make it appeal to a more wider audience (PG-13).

Funny, sounds like First Blood to me and this time Dennehy wins! LOL

As an aging Bad Ass myself, I love movies where the underestimate the hero, what they still have in them, and how much smarter and experienced they are, makes it embarrassing for the villain later when they're decimated!!! Boo-ya!

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how that plays with Arnie's persona.

We won’t see shit, but we’ll get the impression of the fight scene and everyone’s happy. Well, I don’t think so. I’m not a big fan of the way they film action in the Bourne films, or The Dark Knight for that matter."

Tell me about it! Uma Thurman in a comedy again! Because that worked out so well last time.
