I guess this would be the appropriate place to discuss the article, so...

Wow, that was really detailed for someone who hates these movies. Me and my friends have discussed many of these issues before jokingly, but never to this amount of depth, and we love the movies.

Some of your points are a bit nitpicking (There's a perfectly good chance Stryker's glasses are made of plastic or that it was a different Sebastian Shaw (Doesn't explain McCoy's appearance though)), but most of them are quite valid. Nobody seems to recognize how fucked the continuity of these movies are, and how much more so they get each movie.

I really liked X-Men First Class, it had great acting and a decent story, something the last two installments lacked, but it does really fuck up continuity. I've been thinking of it as a reboot to the series, which would work pretty well, but I'm really not sure that's the case. I think you're right in saying that the producers really just don't care, and that's a pretty sad thing.

Anyway, good article. Glad to see you doing a bit of writing for the site again. Hope to see more articles from you in the future.

I love First Class and the first 2 X-Men movies. But i agree, the continuity is fucked up, but i can look past that.

I apologize for the housekeeping-related pickiness, but is the X-creMENt article going to be added to Rant's Repository?

I liked the joke in the new breakdown about how weird the phrase loyal as a mule is because in Florida it's not that uncommon.

I mean, it's no, "Dude!" or any stereotypical Southern phrase but I say it and people don't question it.

Didn't know that. I wish I had a version of the film that wasn't dubbed, because it is certainly a curious bit of dialog and I wonder whether or not it's even in the original track.

Not a big deal, but the new AMB (so glad to see a new one) doesn't mention that it's authored by Kain.

I give that AMB a 100/10; it rocked that fucking hard. 8-)

However, no need to mention who authored it since we all recognize the genius that is Kain (with a capital "K"). However, the emasculation section in the "Execution" chapter should probably go in the "Dudesweat" section, just saying . . .

So...is there like a Pulitzer for the internet, because then I know what should, nay, needs to win it.

Amen to that. The article summed up perfectly everything that is great about Nicolas Cage and his insane awesomeness. Or awesome insane-ness. Take your pick.
