There has been great movie-based video games. And The Expendables could be awesome as a game. But as they havent announced the game yet, and the movie is going to be released in two months. It probably sucks. Although it could be a PSN/Xbox Live title.

Meh, I'm still not convinced it's gonna be good... The "best" movie-licensed game that was released in the last 5 years was the Kick-Ass-beat em up (and that one was slightly below average). I can't really think of any good movie-games that were released in recent years (and no, the Goldeneye-remake for the Wii doesn't count ;D).

The Chronicles Of Riddick, Quantum Of Solace, X-Men Origins: Wolverine are all great games released in the last 5 years. But yeah, most do suck. And seeing how this one has been pretty much hidden, i doubt it will be an exception.

Yeah I shan't hold out much hope that it'll be any good. The only good movie game I ever played was GoldeneEye 007 and that was probably because it came out years after the film rather than being rushed to coincide with the premiere.

Found leaked gameplay.Looks really bad. Really really bad, kinda sucks seeing how there is so much potential in an Expendables game. But seeing as there are no other games out there that i can play as Dolph Lundgren, i guess i am going to buy it anyways, and being a downloadable game it is probably cheap.
