This game was originally called True Crime Hong Kong, and damn, I was looking forward to this game since 2011, then it was cancelled, now they changed the title and released this fucking trailer!

Finally a great game inspired from HK's cinema!

Haven't seen the game in action apart from a few screenshots so can't really say if this is going to be great or not, but that trailer was pretty spectacular.

Nothing really to get excited about until i see gameplay. If the game was cancelled once it couldnt really have been that great.

Sometimes it depends on the interest and the studios willing to create it. A Heat or Dirty Harry videogame could've been the next best thing but both were cancelled.

That trailer had better action than most modern day action films!
Anyway, I remember being so heartbroken when I heard this game was cancelled. Thank God that Square Enix stepped in and saved it. GTA V is cool but I can't wait to hit the streets of HK and kick some triad ass

Bump dat shit.

Actual Story Trailer with some gameplay footage.
Looks good. The game being developed by Squeenix makes me cringe, though. They've released a lot of shit in the past 2-3 years - well, and Deus Ex Human Revolution, which is supposedly pretty good.

Let's hope Squeenix don't fuck it up.

Well, shit. That actually looks pretty good. Still not sure why they're talking in English though.

We won’t see shit, but we’ll get the impression of the fight scene and everyone’s happy. Well, I don’t think so. I’m not a big fan of the way they film action in the Bourne films, or The Dark Knight for that matter."

Somehow I knew, even before he started speaking, that the elderly Asian crime boss was going to have the voice of James Hong.

It's always him or Uncle Benny.

And since he's dead (thanks IMDB), Hong's pretty much got the market cornered.
