Best sandbox game: Saints Row 2.
The point why it is the best sandbox game around: It's a game where one of the main game mechanics is to drive a sewer truck through a suburban neighborhood and spew shit on everything around you. Also: The Fight Club minigame. And the customization options. And the story. And the final Brotherhood mission. And the resolution to the Ronin-plot. And the Sons of Samedi in general. And the fact that this one is faaar fucking better than part 3 (which is still a pretty damn good game, though). And what makes it so much better than GTA 4 in my opinion: NO FUCKING "NICO IT'Z YER KAZEEEHN!"-PHONE CALLS WHILE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING POLICE CAR CHASE!

Agreed, Phil. It's 4 years old and it's still fun as hell. I love mowing down FBI agents with the SAW.
