While it was already leaked a while back, here is the first trailer. It will be released the first may as a standalone expansion to Far Cry 3, so it will not require you to actually own FC 3 (but that is also worth playing) and will probably be around 15 euros or dollars. Really hope to see more of these kind of stand-alone expansions/DLC that very much changes the entire genre/theme of the game. Only other one i can think of was Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare and that was great.

While I'm trying not to get too hyped up for this, it looks freaking SWEET. I stopped watching the leaked footage because I decided I just didn't wanna ruin it for when I buy it. All the stupidly over-the-top reloads and crappy 8-bit cutscenes, and the fact he heals himself by squeezing one of those little hand exercise clamps!

And obviously Michael Biehn, which just about seals the deal. Although I hope he sounds a shitload more interested in what he's saying than he did in Aliens: Colonial Marines, his performance in that was so weak.

"The apocalypse has had an apocalypse!" Hell yeah, I'm sold!

Let's break it down: I play Michael Biehn in an 80s-Italo-style Sci-Fi-Action-Schlock-spectacle  I don't know why the games industry brings back a bunch of stuff from the 80s since "Hotline Miami" was such a hit - but I fucking appreciate it!

Just check out the cover:

It screams "schlock" - and I love it.

I love how the player character looks like a cyborg Snake Plissken with RoboCop's gun. And I swear to God that's Sharon Stone on there.

Yeah. YEAH she kinda looks like that. Or maybe it's Brigitte Nielsen's character in "Mission of Justice".
I've watched way too many fucking movies...
You gotta love the dinosaur shooting lasers out of his eyes, though

Anyway, I love that shit. I mean - DUDE, the apocalypse has had an apocalypse! And you play Michael Biehn with the Robocop-handgun! And the main shotgun in the game is called Galeria 1992!
AGAIN: WAY TOO MANY FUCKING MOVIES.
If they throw in the Equalizer 2000 as well this gonna be the best thing ever since Tia Carrere's tits in "Showdown in Little Tokyo"!

I don't believe there's such a thing as 'too many movies'.

I'm so blown away by how this looks that I bought the regular Far Cry 3 today, even though I know I don't need to own it to play this.

Oh, and I hate to spoil it for you Phil, but I heard Carrere used a body double in that scene. I know, I was disappointed too :( .

It's a great game, I'm sure you'll love it. Where else can you throw rocks to lure a bear into eating a bad guy's face off or hunt leopards with landmines?

Thanks for the ideas:D. I've played it for a couple of hours already and I've really got into but I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface.

Oh.
Oh. :(
Well, one can but(t) dream I guess...
Then please let me replace "Tia Carrere's tits" with "Amy Smart's tits in Crank 2".

And you gotta play Far Cry 3 just for Vaas, man. Vaas is badass.

Yeah, I've only seen a couple of minutes of him so far, but he's already made an impression.
